My story
I started learning Vedic astrology and numerology more than twelve years ago, the traditional way — sitting with printed charts, cross-checking planetary positions by hand, and comparing predictions against real outcomes in my own family and circle of friends before I trusted a rule enough to use it on anyone else's chart. That habit of checking a rule against real life before repeating it has stayed with me, and it's the same standard I hold every article on this site to.
I founded AstroFuture AI because a proper consultation with an experienced astrologer in India typically costs ₹1,500–₹2,500 (~$18–$30) and requires booking a slot and waiting days for a reply. Most people only want a quick, honest answer about a specific question — a dasha period, a name spelling, a mobile number — not a one-hour session. Astro Futures exists to apply the same classical rule systems instantly, at a fraction of the cost, without pretending a computer replaces a thoughtful human reading for complex life decisions.

The methods I work with
Everything I write or review traces back to one of four classical systems, never a generic horoscope template:
- Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (BPHS) — the foundational Vedic astrology text. I use its rules for house lordships, planetary strength (shadbala), yogas and the overall chart reading that everything else builds on.
- KP Paddhati (Krishnamurti system) — for timing-specific questions like "when will this event happen", using sub-lord analysis and the 4-step rule rather than broad dasha predictions alone.
- Chaldean numerology — in the Cheiro and Dr. K.T. Chaudhry lineage, for name correction, business names and number compatibility work.
- True Moon Sign Dasha — for Chandra-based (lunar) dasha sequencing where a reading calls for Moon-anchored periods rather than the standard Vimshottari start point.
How I review articles on this blog
Every article on AstroFuture AI is either written by me or passes through a review step before it's published. In practice that means: I check that the astrological or numerological rule cited is actually from one of the four systems above (not invented or borrowed from a generic horoscope site), I verify the worked example matches what the rule would actually produce for that chart or number, and I remove any claim that reads as a guarantee rather than a tendency — classical texts describe likelihoods and patterns, not certainties. If I'm not confident a rule is applied correctly, the article doesn't go live until it is.
Two illustrations of how the rules apply
The two examples below are illustrations to show how a rule is typically applied — they are not real client case studies, and no identifying details are used.
Illustration 1 — KP sub-lord timing. Say someone's 10th cusp sub-lord is signified by a planet connected to the 2nd, 6th and 11th houses. Under KP rules, that combination is commonly read as supporting a job change or new income source during that planet's active dasha or transit period — not as a guaranteed event, but as a window where the chart's own significators line up with that theme.
Illustration 2 — Chaldean name correction. Say a business name reduces to a Chaldean compound number traditionally associated with obstacles and delays. A name correction, in this lineage, means adjusting the spelling (not the pronunciation) so the resulting number aligns with the owner's birth-number compatibility chart — a classical technique, applied the same way regardless of which business it's used for.
