Quick Answer

This numerology calculator takes your date of birth and full name and returns your Birth Number, Destiny (Life Path) Number, Soul Number and Personality Number, plus your Lo Shu grid. It uses Chaldean numerology for names, which most numerologists consider more accurate, and Pythagorean rules for date-based numbers. It is free, with no signup needed to see your first result.

What this numerology calculator by date of birth gives you

Your date of birth alone gives two core numbers. The Birth Number, also called Mulank, comes from just the day you were born, reduced to a single digit, so someone born on the 24th gets 2+4=6. The Destiny or Life Path Number uses the full date, day, month and year, reduced the same way, and describes the longer arc of your life rather than your day-to-day personality.

Add your full name and you get two more numbers from the Chaldean system: the Soul Number from the vowels in your name, showing inner motivation, and the Personality Number from the consonants, showing how others perceive you before they know you well. We use Chaldean values for names specifically because the system assigns letters by vibrational sound rather than simple alphabetical order, which most numerologists in the Cheiro tradition consider more precise for names.

Beyond the core numbers, the calculator draws your Lo Shu grid from your date of birth, a 3x3 square showing which digits repeat, which are missing, and which arrows of strength or weakness run through the grid. Master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are kept as they are rather than reduced further, because they are treated as carrying a distinct intensity in most numerology traditions.

Chaldean versus Pythagorean, and why we mix them

Chaldean numerology is the older system, tracing back to ancient Babylon. It assigns letters values from 1 to 8, deliberately skipping 9, based on the sound vibration of each letter. It is generally considered more precise for names and brand names.

Pythagorean numerology is the Western system, assigning 1 to 9 in simple alphabetical order. It is easier to compute by hand and works well for date-based numbers like Life Path and Birthday, but is considered less refined for analysing names.

We use Chaldean for name calculations and Pythagorean for date calculations, the combination followed by most serious Indian numerologists in the Cheiro tradition, so the numbers you get here match what a professional consultation would produce.

A real example: Rohit Mehta, born 14 August 1995

Date of birth: 14-08-1995. Birth Number is just the day: 1+4=5. Destiny (Life Path) Number uses every digit of the full date: 1+4+0+8+1+9+9+5 = 37, then 3+7 = 10, then 1+0 = 1. So Rohit's Birth Number is 5 and his Life Path is 1, see the full method on our Life Path Number Calculator.

Now the name, using Chaldean values (A1 B2 C3 D4 E5 F8 G3 H5 I1 J1 K2 L3 M4 N5 O7 P8 Q1 R2 S3 T4 U6 V6 W6 X5 Y1 Z7). "ROHIT MEHTA" letter by letter: R2 O7 H5 I1 T4, M4 E5 H5 T4 A1. Vowels (O, I, E, A) give 7+1+5+1 = 14, which reduces to 1+4 = 5, his Soul Number. Consonants (R, H, T, M, H, T) give 2+5+4+4+5+4 = 24, which reduces to 2+4 = 6, his Personality Number. The full name total is 14+24 = 38, reducing to 3+8 = 11, a master number, so his Expression Number stays 11 rather than reducing to 2.

Reading it together: Birth 5 wants variety, Life Path 1 wants to lead, and an 11 Expression Number adds an intuitive, slightly restless charge on top. None of this tells Rohit what to do next, it just lays out the raw material.

Who checks the maths behind this calculator

This calculator is built and maintained by the AstroFuture AI team at BEONE DEAL. The letter values follow the standard Chaldean table, the date reductions follow standard Pythagorean rules, and the Lo Shu grid follows the classical 3x3 layout. Before any change to the calculation logic goes live, we run a batch of known dates and names through it and compare the output against published numerology references, so a result here should match what a textbook or a trained numerologist would give you by hand.

What this calculator will not tell you

It will not tell you whether to take a job, marry someone, or name your child, those are your decisions. It gives you the numbers and their traditional meanings, nothing more. Numerology is a symbolic framework built over centuries of observation, not a measurable science, so treat the output as one input among several, alongside your own judgement and, if you want a fuller picture, your birth chart.
