7. Rahu-Sun (10m 24d). Ego clashes with authority, bosses, fathers, governments. Health issues around eyes, heart, blood pressure. Short but intense.
8. Rahu-Moon (1y 6m). Emotional turbulence, mother's health, real estate matters. Depression risk if the natal Moon is weak.
9. Rahu-Mars (1y 18d). The second hardest. Accidents, surgeries, sudden fights, legal disputes. Drive carefully. Postpone risky decisions.

The hardest phases inside Rahu MD

1. Rahu-Saturn (2y 10m 6d). Karmic auditor at its peak. Health scares, legal cases, financial pressure. Do not sign new debt.
2. Rahu-Mars (1y 18d). Accident, surgery, and legal risk. Drive carefully, postpone elective surgery, mediate disputes.
3. Rahu-Sun (10m 24d). Authority conflicts, government notices, father-related events. Stay respectful of hierarchy.

Career, money, relationships, health

Career: tech, aviation, foreign trade, media, film, pharma, chemicals, research, and any modern or unconventional sector. Government service can feel constricting unless Rahu is very well placed.

Money: huge swings. Save aggressively in Ra-Ju and Ra-Ve, defensive posture in Ra-Sa and Ra-Ma. Do not gamble.

Relationships: unconventional marriages, cross-culture love, foreign spouse, or long-distance relationships cluster here. Existing marriages tested if Rahu sits in or aspects the 7th.

Health: nervous system, sleep, anxiety, addictions, skin, and mysterious diagnoses that specialists struggle to explain. Cut screens after 9 pm, reduce processed food, add meditation.

Remedies that genuinely help

Rahu remedies are strange because Rahu itself is strange. Standard mantra japa is less effective than behavioural corrections. In my experience:

1. Ketu mantra 108 times daily. Ketu is Rahu's opposite, strengthening Ketu tames Rahu. "Om Ketave Namah."
2. Donate black sesame, black blankets, or urad dal on Saturdays, traditional and it works.
3. Keep a small piece of silver on you, silver soothes Rahu's electric energy.
4. Tell the truth in complicated situations. Rahu punishes shortcuts, misrepresentation, and dodging responsibility. The single most important remedy and nobody sells it because you cannot charge for honesty.
5. Serve outcasts. Rahu rules the marginalised. Volunteer at an NGO, feed street dogs, help someone below your social level. Shifts the vibration faster than any mantra.
6. Reduce screen time after 9 pm. Rahu rules screens, they overstimulate the nervous system when Rahu is running.

Common myths I hear about Rahu MD

• "Rahu Dasha is always bad." No. Rahu Mahadasha is neutral, it amplifies whatever house it sits in and whatever sign lord it is connected to.
• "Rahu means guaranteed foreign settlement." Only when Rahu sits in 4, 9, 10, or 12, or the Lagna lord supports it.
• "Wear hessonite (Gomed) to fix everything." Gomed on afflicted Rahu can make anxiety and addictions worse. Verify placement first.

What comes after
