Quick Answer

To calculate your birth chart, enter your birth date, exact birth time and birthplace. The calculator converts that moment and location into a sidereal Vedic chart showing your Lagna, planets, 12 houses, Moon sign, Nakshatra and Vimshottari Dasha. The chart is free to generate after sign-in and no payment card is required.

What your free birth chart report includes

A birth chart is a map of the sky for the minute and place you were born. This calculator uses your location and local birth time to place the Ascendant and nine Vedic grahas in twelve houses. The result is your D1 Rasi chart, the main chart used to examine personality, family, education, work, relationships and other life areas.

Your report also identifies your Lagna, Moon sign, Sun sign and birth Nakshatra with its pada. Planet tables show the sign, house and degree of each placement, so you can see the calculation rather than receiving only a generic paragraph.

For timing, the report includes Vimshottari Mahadasha, Antardasha and Pratyantardasha dates calculated from the True Moon. It also includes divisional charts such as D9 Navamsa and D10 Dasamsa, plus Chalit and current transit views. These are separate layers of the same birth data, not extra questionnaires.

  4. 4

    Generate and read the report

The three birth details that change your chart

Date fixes the broad planetary positions. Time determines the eastern horizon and therefore your Lagna and house structure. Place adjusts the result for the local time zone, latitude and longitude. All three are needed for a fully timed Vedic birth chart.

If the birth time is unknown, the slower planetary signs and much of the Moon-based reading may still be useful. The Lagna, houses and precise event timing should be treated cautiously because a time difference can move the Ascendant or a planet across a house boundary.

How to start reading the result

Begin with the Lagna and its ruling planet, then check the Moon sign and Nakshatra for emotional patterns. Next, read each planet by its sign, house and relationships with other planets. A placement should not be judged from one label alone; house ownership, dignity, aspects and the running Dasha can strengthen or modify it.

Use the D1 chart for the overall picture. Open D9 for marriage and underlying planetary strength, D10 for career, and Chalit to see whether a planet changes house near a cusp. Dasha dates then show when particular chart themes are more likely to become active.
