Kemdrum Yoga in Kundli: What It Really Means
Kemdrum Yoga gets called a poverty curse, but the honest reading is emotional isolation, and most charts already cancel it. Here is how to check yours.
The reading order that prevents mistakes
Start with the Lagna and its lord, because every house is counted from there and the Lagna lord's condition sets the baseline strength of the whole chart. Then read the Moon for the mind and the Sun for vitality and authority.
Only after that go house by house for the question asked: 7th and its lord plus Venus for marriage, 10th plus its lord and the Dasamsa for career, 6th, 8th and 12th for health. Jumping straight to a house without checking the Lagna lord is how charts get misread.
Divisional charts, used correctly
D1 shows the promise, divisional charts show whether that promise matures. D9 Navamsa refines marriage, dharma and the deeper strength of every planet. D10 Dasamsa refines profession. D7 covers children, D4 property, D12 parents.
The rule is simple: a result promised in D1 and confirmed in the relevant divisional chart is reliable. A result visible only in a divisional chart usually stays potential. We compute all 16 divisions so this cross-check takes seconds instead of an evening of manual work.
Matching two Kundlis without the guna theatre
The 36-guna Ashtakoot score is a screening tool, not a verdict. Plenty of 30-plus matches struggle and plenty of 20-something matches last, because Ashtakoot mostly measures Moon and Nakshatra harmony.
A serious match adds the 7th house and 7th lord of both charts, Venus and Mars condition, Manglik status with cancellations, Bhakoot and Nadi with cancellations, the D9 of both people, and whether the marriage Dasha windows of the two charts overlap. That last point, timing, is the one almost every free matching tool skips.
