How to use this guide

Every planet leaves a specific type of mark. Mars gives cuts and surgical scars. Saturn gives dark, sometimes hairy, moles. Jupiter gives skin tags and warts. Rahu gives large birthmarks or dental gaps. Ketu gives odd irregular spots and stitch like marks. Sun gives red patches and early greying. Moon gives multiple small pale moles. Venus gives beauty spots. Mercury gives freckles. The house tells you the body part.

One more rule from classical Samudrik. For men, houses 1 to 6 map to the right side of the body, 7 to 12 the left. For women it flips. Keep that in mind when the marker below says right or left.

Sun leaves reddish patches, sun spots, and early hair thinning. High forehead is the classic tell.

Ketu gives odd irregular marks. Stitch like scars, patches that no doctor can explain. The health theme is usually undiagnosable.

• 9th house, mark on left thigh, distant father, spiritual seeker.

Common combinations I see in real charts

• Twin moles side by side, Mercury and Venus in the same house, usually the 2nd. Beauty plus sharp speech.
• Red mole (not birthmark, actually red), Mars and Sun in the same house. Fiery temperament, blood heat.
• Hairy dark mole, Saturn with Rahu in one house. Karmic marker, past life carry over.
• Beauty spot near a scar, Venus aspecting a Mars house. Attractive person with visible surgery mark.
• Small mole on the sole of the foot, almost always Moon, Ketu, or Saturn in the 12th. This one is the most reliable single marker I've seen.

When the markers do not match, honest limitations

Samudrik Shastra is not 100 percent. Here is what I tell every client. Cosmetic surgery erases markers. Accidents create false markers. Twins share a chart nearly identically but one twin may show markers the other does not, that is normal. Strong Yogas and remedial gemstones over years can fade classical markers. And birth time inaccuracy of even 4 minutes can shift the ascendant, which flips the whole house count.

So use body markers as confirmation, not diagnosis. If your chart shows Saturn in 7th and your partner is indeed older with a mole on your lower back, that is confirmation. If nothing matches at all, get your birth time rectified before you blame the shastra.

Samudrik Shastra face reading, the quick version

Face reading is really just the 1st-house section of this same matrix, since the face is the most visible part of the body ruled by whichever planet sits in or aspects your Lagna. A high forehead points to Sun or Jupiter influence, multiple small moles on the cheeks point to Moon, and freckles across the nose point to Mercury. Read the "1st house" row under each planet above if face markers are what you are specifically trying to match.

A real example: reading one marker start to finish

A client comes in with a single dark mole just left of the navel and a Kundli showing Saturn in the 5th house. Cross-referencing the table above, Saturn in 5th gives "mole on upper abdomen, child delays, gastritis." The marker matched the chart, and the client confirmed both a delayed first pregnancy and recurring acidity. That is the whole method, find the mark, find the house from the chart, read the row, check if the life pattern matches.

What this guide cannot tell you

It cannot diagnose anything medically, a mole pattern is a correlation observed over years of charts, not a clinical test. Two people with the same marker can live very different lives depending on the rest of their chart, Dasha and choices. Use it the way it is meant, as one more data point alongside your free Kundli, not as a standalone verdict.
