Lal Kitab Nisaniyan and Remedies for Every Planet, House by House

Lal Kitab is not a parallel astrology, it is a reading manual. Its strongest chapter is the "signs" section, the visible marks a planet leaves in your home, your body, the events that keep repeating, and your closest relationships when it is sitting weak or hostile in the D1. Once you learn to read those signs against the house the planet occupies, you almost never have to guess which planet is misbehaving. This guide walks all 9 planets, house by house, with the exact remedy, quantity, material, day, and the combinations that make the remedy backfire.

What the four "signs" actually mean

Lal Kitab documents four evidence trails for every planet. In plain English:

• Home Signs — physical things inside the house that misbehave.
• Body Signs — symptoms in your own body.
• Event Signs — the same category of event repeating in cycles.
• Relationship Signs — which family member or role gets hit.

Rule of thumb: if three of the four trails match for a planet in its current house, the reading is confirmed and the 43-day remedy can begin. One trail alone is not enough.

The Lal Kitab reference (memorise once)

Sun (Surya) — signs by house

Sun — remedy (exact recipe)

• Day: Sunday, sunrise to 10 AM.
• Water offering: Copper pot, red flowers, pinch of roli, one raw wheat grain. Face east, both hands.
• Donation: 1.25 kg wheat + 250 g jaggery in red cloth, given to your biological father if alive, or a temple cook on Sunday.
• Wear: Copper ring on right ring finger, no stone.
• Avoid: Never run this remedy if Sun sits with Saturn or Rahu in the same house without a small mustard-oil donation on Saturday first. Never fund it with your father's money.

Moon (Chandra) — signs by house

Moon — remedy

• Day: Monday evening, ideally waxing fortnight.
• Silver water: Fill a silver glass with water at night, drink first thing Monday morning.
• Donation: 1.25 kg raw rice + 500 ml milk in white cloth, to your mother, or an elderly woman near a river/Shiva temple.
• Structural fix: Keep a low-wattage white bulb always on in the NW after sunset.
• Avoid: Do not start if Moon sits with Rahu/Ketu without first feeding a black dog for 7 days. Do not ask your mother to fast in your place.

Mars (Mangal) — signs by house

Mars — remedy

• Day: Tuesday morning.
• Sweet-water rule: Add a spoon of rock sugar (misri) to the home water pot every Tuesday, 43 Tuesdays straight.
• Donation: 800 g masoor dal + a piece of jaggery in red cloth, to a working labourer or at a Hanuman temple on Tuesday.
• Feed a monkey: Gur-chana, at least three Tuesdays a month.
• Avoid: If Mars is with Saturn (Mangal-Shani), do not wear red coral without a full reading. If Mars is with Ketu, never gift anything sharp — even in charity.

Mercury (Budh) — signs by house

Mercury — remedy

• Day: Wednesday morning.
• Green thread: Traditional Lal Kitab prescribes gold nose piercing for women. Modern equivalent: tie a green thread on the right wrist for 43 days.
• Donation: 900 g green moong + green vegetables to a girl under 10, Wednesday. Or feed a temple parrot.
• Structural fix: Small brass/clay pot with millet (bajra) in the north of the house.
• Avoid: No emerald if Mercury sits with Ketu. Never give the green items to a widow or a woman in mourning.

Jupiter (Guru) — signs by house

Jupiter — remedy

• Day: Thursday morning.
• Tilak: Saffron or turmeric tilak every Thursday.
• Donation: 900 g chana dal + 100 g haldi in yellow cloth to a Brahmin or Vishnu/Guru temple. Add one banana.
• Structural fix: Plant a banana or peepal if the home allows, water it every Thursday.
• Avoid: Do not start this if Jupiter sits with Rahu (Guru-Chandal) without 7 days of Ganesh mantra first. Insulting an elder during the 43-day cycle resets everything.

Venus (Shukra) — signs by house

Venus — remedy

• Day: Friday, morning or early evening.
• Cow-ghee lamp: One pure cow-ghee diya before Lakshmi photo, 21 Fridays.
• Donation: Sugar 400 g + rice 900 g + white cloth to a newlywed woman or Devi temple on Friday.
• Respect the wife: Never scold or embarrass the wife on Friday; breaks the whole cycle.
• Avoid: Never donate cow ghee if Venus is combust with Sun — the wife's health drops instead. No diamonds without a proper reading if Venus sits in 6th/8th/12th.

Saturn (Shani) — signs by house

Saturn — remedy

• Day: Saturday, after sunset.
• Mustard-oil lamp: Under a peepal tree, one earthen diya of mustard oil, four black sesame grains at the base, silent.
• Donation: Black sesame 400 g + urad dal 800 g + black cloth + iron nail to a labourer, sweeper, or blind person on Saturday.
• Feed crows: Roti with a drop of mustard oil, Saturday morning.
• Avoid: No blue sapphire without a 7-day trial. If Saturn sits with Sun, do the Sun remedy first for 43 days. Never disrespect elderly labourers or sweepers.

Rahu — signs by house

Rahu — remedy

• Day: Saturday, or during Rahu Kaal.
• Coconut in flowing water: Flow one whole coconut with a pinch of raw barley in a running river or clean canal — not stagnant.
• Donation: Blue/black blanket + mustard 400 g + a silver piece to a leper, sweeper, or trans community on Saturday.
• Feed: Black dog on Saturday, roti with mustard oil, minimum 4 Saturdays.
• Avoid: No hessonite if Rahu sits with Mars or Sun. Never keep a broken idol, broken clock, or dead plant at home during Rahu Mahadasha.

Ketu — signs by house

Ketu — remedy

• Day: Tuesday evening or Ketu Kaal.
• Ganesh worship: Offer durva grass and one modak to Ganesh every Tuesday.
• Donation: Black-and-white blanket + sesame 400 g + a small silver piece to a sadhu, orphan boy, or Ganesh temple on Tuesday.
• Feed: A spotted dog with milk-bread on Tuesday.
• Avoid: No cat's-eye if Ketu sits with Sun or Moon. Never skip annual shraddh or tarpan if Ketu is in the 9th; remedy will not hold.

Combined signal check — before starting any remedy

Lal Kitab rules people break every time

1. Never start two planet remedies in the same week. One at a time, 43 days each.
2. Never buy the samagri with borrowed money or from money you owe someone.
3. Silence during the remedy. No photos, no reels — sharing on social media reverses the effect.
4. If a remedy involves a river, use actual flowing water, not a bucket or tap version.
5. Menstruating women pause that cycle and restart the count next month.
6. Never do Rahu and Ketu remedies on the same day. Keep them at least a week apart.

Honest limitations

Lal Kitab is a diagnostic layer, not a replacement for a full Vedic reading. It works best when combined with a proper D1 + D9 analysis and Vimshottari dasha. If you have serious health symptoms, see a doctor first — do not delay medical care while running a 43-day remedy. Lal Kitab upaay (remedies) frequently asked questions

People often ask me for a quick "upaay" without reading their own signs first. Do not skip that step. An upaay done for the wrong planet, or started while another remedy is already running, rarely helps and sometimes creates fresh confusion in the house it touches. Match at least 3 of the 4 signs before you buy any samagri.

A real example

A client came to me convinced his career was cursed, three job offers fell through in one year right after signing. His D1 showed Sun in the 10th. Checking the Home and Event signs for that placement, certificates kept getting misplaced at home and promotions were announced then withheld, both matched exactly. What this can't tell you

Lal Kitab signs are pattern-matching tools, not proof. A creaky door or a cancelled trip can have an ordinary explanation, and one matching sign alone does not confirm a planetary cause.
